Applications from qualified applicants are now being accepted for the Joint Universities Preliminary Examinations Board (JUPEB) program for the academic year 2022–2023. The curriculum results in the issuance of a JUPEB certificate, allowing graduates to secure direct entry admission into a variety of degree programs at the University of Nigeria, Nsukka, and other JUPEB-affiliated universities in Nigeria and overseas.

Eligible candidates must have a minimum of five credits, taken in no more than two sittings, in courses such as mathematics, English language, and others pertinent to their intended university course of study.

DURATION: The curriculum lasts for at least one academic session, or two semesters.

COMMUNITY SCIENCES:

Government, literature, and the CRS (GLCRS)
Economics, Government, CRS, and IRS (GECRS)

Economics/Economics/Literature (GEL) (GEL)
Mathematics, Economics, and Government (GEM)
Biology/Economics/Government (BEG) (BEG)
Economics/Geography/Mathematics (GEG) Government/Economics/Geography (EGM)
Administration Sciences

Economics, Business Studies, and Accounting (ABE)
Business Studies/Economics/Mathematics (BSM) Government/Economics/Mathematics (GEM) (BEM)

SCIENCES:

Biology, Chemistry, and Physics (PCB)
Biology/Chemistry/Economics (BCE) (BCE)

Physics/Biology/Mathematics (PBM) (PBM)

geography, physics, and chemistry (CPG)

The aforementioned subject combinations satisfy the prerequisites (where necessary) for admission into different courses in the social sciences, humanities, business, and sciences of management at the University of Nigeria, Nsukka, as well as at all JUPEB-affiliated universities in Nigeria and overseas.

Approach to Application
The applicant must use any bank’s remita payment tool to submit a N20,000.00 application fee. He or she has to create a payment invoice with a remita number on it. He or she can pay at the bank using the printed invoice. (Please be aware that there are bank fees.)

The following is a summary of the application’s procedures:

Go to unn.edu.ng.
Under JUPEB, choose Generate Payment Invoice.
After entering your phone number, press “Submit.”

Click “Submit” after entering your surname, first and middle names.
To pay at the bank, print the invoice.
Visit the site after making payments at the bank (unnportal.unn.edu.ng)
choose “fill” Program of the Joint Universities Preliminary Admissions Board
After entering the remita number, press “Submit.”
Submit the form with your passport attached (colour passport photograph with white background).
The passport photo must be recent (taken no more than three months prior to the application deadline), and it cannot be larger than 100KB.
Fill out the form, then press “submit.”
The acknowledgement slip should be printed.

Information in General Regarding UNN JUPEB Admission
All potential JUPEB applicants are encouraged to often check their email as well as unn.edu.ng for updates and other pertinent information.
During the program, all applicants must sign up for the 2023 direct admission UTME.

Within two weeks of seeing the website, the applications must be completed and submitted online. Forms cannot be downloaded or printed; neither will be accepted.
Candidates are urged to carefully read the application instructions and make sure they choose the appropriate subject combinations. If this isn’t done, it can hurt the candidate.
