Nigerian Federal Polytechnics List
The list of polytechnics in Nigeria that have been approved by the National Board for Technical Education (NBTE) is shown below. It contains all of Nigeria’s accredited Federal, State, and Private Polytechnics. As additional polytechnics are established, we will keep this list updated. A polytechnic is a technical college that offers postsecondary technical education programs that result in the awarding of degrees and certificates like the National Diploma (ND) and Higher National Diploma (HND). Depending on their degree of training, these institutions’ graduates will be able to work as entry-level technicians, higher technicians/technologists, or professionals in their fields of specialization. Additionally, a polytechnic may engage in applied research and carry out any other duties that may occasionally be assigned by its Council.
