The West African Examinations Council (WAEC) has declared that it will introduce a digital certificate platform on October 20, 2022, to enable individuals, businesses, and institutions of higher learning to validate WAEC credentials.

The digital platform, which can be used on both Android and iOS devices, can also be used to recover burnt, lost, or forgotten WAEC candidates’ examination numbers, as well as damaged certificates, according to a statement released by Moyosola Adesina, the acting head of public affairs for WAEC, on Friday, October 14.
