The Cross River State Executive Council (EXCO) has approved the recruitment of Teaching and Non-teaching staff into the State Public Primary Schools. To this end, the State Universal Basic Education Board is inviting applications from suitably qualified candidates to fill in the Teaching and Non-teaching staff positions in Public Primary Schools across the state.
A minimum of NCE is required for applicants for teaching employment, and they must be registered with TRCN. An advantage would be relevant teaching experience at a reputable institution. Candidates must be under 40 years old and have excellent spoken and written English communication abilities. Computer literacy or proficiency is a distinct benefit.

A highly technical panel led by the Executive Chairman of SUBEB will conduct a written test and oral interview with candidates who have been shortlisted for teaching positions to ascertain their mastery of the subject’s content knowledge, pedagogical skills, capacity for effective communication, and professional competency as teachers.
