Melbourne 2023 Asia Endeavour Travel Scholarship


Scholarship Goals: Through this scholarship, students will be able to immerse themselves in the diversity of Asian cultures and grow closer to the continent. The Asia Endeavour Travel Scholarship helps students get a deeper understanding of the Asian continent and all that it has to offer, as well as a better understanding of the connections and economic and social forces at play there.
The New Colombo Plan grant and the $2500 provided by this travel scholarship can be combined to help winners cover living costs while pursuing an internship this summer in Malaysia, Vietnam, Singapore, or South Korea. Six scholarships are offered.
Benefits of the Scholarship: The scholarship consists of a $2500 lump sum and may be combined with funds from the New Colombo Plan.

Nationalities Eligible: Students from any nation may apply.

any Swinburne University of Technology undergraduate or graduate degree.
Candidates who want to be considered for the Asia Endeavour Scholarship must:
satisfy the following requirements
citizen of Australia or New Zealand
satisfy the following enrollment requirements:
be an ongoing Swinburne student in 2022, enrolled full-time in a degree that qualifies (see courses eligible in section above)
taking part in a minimum 6-week work placement or internship program run by Swinburne in a region of Asia
Send in a 500-word maximum personal statement or a two-minute maximum video detailing why you want to study, live, or work in Asia and what you hope to gain from the experience.
Application Process: Candidates must complete an online application and submit it by Friday, November 4, 2022, together with all other supporting materials.
Applications that are incomplete won’t be accepted.
