- The study is a place of work not play.it is a place of seriousness not jokes
- Don’t allow friends or visitors or visitors play or scat at your study except when they only want to work there.it is a private place like your bed.
- You should only put the things that are relevant to your assignment around your study. Don’t put things there because of vogue or beauty. The issue is how relevant to your assignment is what you put in your study.
PICTURES
Your subconscious mind is far more powerful than your conscious mind. On like your conscious mind, your subconscious mind work with images. Picture and concepts.so, the picture you put around your table affects your subconscious minds, which will ultimately and affectively affect your entire career.
Put around your table pictures that will motivate you, that would encourage you and ginger you into further studies. Don’t put the sensual pictures of a naked woman or man and don’t put a picture of an ugly ape etc. put wise sayings quotations and illustrations that stimulate your study appetite. To aid your concentration you can put something like this is a poster “HEY! WHY ARE YOU NOT CONCENTRATING?” To motivate you to read you can put a poster like this: “READ: EVERY READER IS A LEADER.”
Finally, you must make your study as comfortable as possible. Spend your money to get good chairs and good tables. Keep the place neat and decongest your room to allow for ventilation. Don’t forget that the more you spend on your study the more you receive from the study. The keeping of a study must be developed as habit whether in school or out of school. This is important because after school there’s what we called personal education. It is personal education that will bring you a fortune. Formal education (the type you get in school) would only earn you a living.
