THE UNIVERSITY OF MEDICAL SCIENCES APPLICATION

Supplementary Post-UTME / Direct Entry Screening Form for the Academic Session 2022 / 2023

The University of Medical Sciences (UNIMED), Ondo, Ondo State, was formed in 2014 with the objective of fostering excellence in teaching, research, and service delivery in all health science fields. Since its inception, the University has carved out a niche for itself as one of the few public universities with a consistent academic calendar and exceptional educational delivery.

ELIGIBILITY . Candidates who choose University of Medical Sciences, Ondo as their first and second choices in the 2022 UTME and received a score of 160 or higher are eligible for the Post UTME Screening. Candidates who did not choose the University of Medical Sciences, Ondo but are willing to change are also eligible for the screening.

Candidates must have five (5) credit passes in appropriate O/Level courses, including English Language and Mathematics, at one sitting for the MBBS/BDS programme and not more than two sittings in relevant O/Level subjects, including English and Mathematics, for other University programs.

Direct entry candidates with a minimum of 10 points in relevant ‘A’ level subjects or a B.Sc. (Hons) degree in the Basic Medical or Biological Sciences with a minimum of Second Class (Lower Division) are also eligible to apply for Medicine, Surgery, and Dentistry Courses.

COMBINATION OF JAMB UTME SUBJECTS
In the UTME, all courses in Faculties require English Language, Physics, Chemistry, and Biology. In the UTME, candidates in Mathematics must have English, Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics or Biology.

HOW TO APPLY FOR THE POST-UTME SCREENING EXERCISE AT UNIMED
Eligible candidates should visit the University’s website at www.unimed.edu.ng and complete the following steps:. Select Admission;

. To access the Post-UTME Portal, click on Post-UTME;. Click on PAYMENT to make a payment using DEBIT Cards using the online payment system. Print Payment Receipt after payment. Click on Application Login on the Post-UTME Portal to Login with your UTME Registration Number and Payment Transaction ID as Password to complete the screening form.

SCREENING SCHEDULE AND EXAMINATION VENUE
The Supplementary Screening Exercise will take place on September 28th, 2022. The examination will be held in the University of Medical Sciences, Odosida Campus, Ondo City, Ondo State. The application slip will provide the candidate’s date and time.

ALSO, NOTE THE FOLLOWING ISSUES .

All candidates are requested to bring along the following items to the screening venue: a. JAMB UTME Notification of Results or Registration Slips for Direct-Entry Candidates; b. Printed copy of the completed 2021/2022 Admission Screening slip. .
