Many Nigerian tertiary institutions used to administer Post-UTME exams that were paper-based in the past.

However, with the advent of the digital age, practically all Nigerian institutions now appear to use the computer-based test method in place of all other testing and screening methods.

In Nigeria, the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) was the first to use computer-based testing to evaluate applicant performance.

These days, a lot of Nigerian tertiary institutions are using CBT to admit students and evaluate their performance in some courses.
